San Juan Meeting Room

The San Juan Room is a warm and inviting room, which offers many windows and wood floors. It has hosted many wedding receptions, birthday parties, meetings, and retreats. It also offers a small kitchen area suitable for a light meal and beverage set-up. We offer a variety of tables, folding chairs, linens, as well as audio/visual equipment, so the room can be set up to your specifications. The room can accommodate up to 150 people so it is a perfect location for an intimate gathering.

The Massard Room is the largest of the rooms at the Ouray Conference & Community Center. It is the perfect size room to host larger events as it can accommodate over 300 people. Over the years, it has hosted numerous wedding receptions, dances, school functions, community presentations, political debates, and non-profit fundraisers. It is a very versatile room with many options for your event. There is a fully equipped commercial kitchen in the Massard Room with convenient serving areas for food and beverages. We offer a variety of tables, folding chairs, linens, as well as audio/visual equipment, so the room can be set up to your specifications.

The Wright Opera House

The historic Wright Opera House, located in the heart of downtown Ouray, Colorado, offers a unique and elegant venue for hosting a meeting or conference. We treat our OAC members like family. Our members have free access to the space, which includes high-speed internet and an inspiring atmosphere that is conducive to productivity. Join our gym today!


For visitors who are not members, we offer a drop-in fee of $20. This fee allows you to enjoy the quiet space and high-speed internet for the day, as well as access to the rest of our facility. This includes our bouldering gym, which is a great way to take a break and refresh your mind.

Liquor, wine or beer cannot be sold or given away at a public event without first applying for a Special Event Permit. Such a permit can also be obtained from the  CITY DEPUTY CLERK/TREASURER.
